Established in the year 1958, by the great visionary (Late) Sri. Chimanlal Ujamshi Shah (C U Shah), who came from Lakhtar Village from Surendra Nagar District of Saurashtra region in Gujarat (INDIA)
After completing his law degree, Mr. Shah moved to Kenya during the second world war time to explore business activities between East Africa and India. He has joined with Mr. M P Shah owner of M/s. Kenya Tanning Extract Company (KTE) to explore the eco-friendly wattle extract business for Indian market. He has also explored and started importing Wattle Bark and subsequently Wattle solid and Wattle spray dried powders from East Africa mainly from Kenya, Zimbabwe, Tanzania and South Africa through M/s. Meghdoot Export Import Private Limited Started trading in Speciality chemicals for serving Leather industry during the year 1991 with a dealership for a Swiss Multinational M/s. Sandoz…. (who in turn transferred the business to a new company named M/s. Clariant… and then sold the division to M/s. Stahl….). Currently we are one of the biggest distribution networks for M/s. Stahl India Private Limited, having sales offices at all South tanning centres.
Meghdoot do lot of imports from M/s. Stahl’s various locations.
Meghdoot started their textile division for trading in speciality chemicals Manufactured by M/s Clariant (Now Archroma) in Erode & Tirupur, in South India since 2008

In addition to Customs Clearance, the company’s other main business is Warehousing. It has covered warehousing area of over 75000 Square feet located in prime areas of Mumbai (INDIA). Company has lot of goodwill with the Customs and Customs Brokers.
